Canoparmelia texana (Parmeliaceae, Ascomycota) consists of two independent lineages

Abstract: Recent studies have demonstrated that species boundaries among the lichen-forming fungi are in need of revision with the discovery of cryptic species in numerous clades, especially in parmelioid lichens.
