Abstract:Paroxysmal Vocal Cords Dysfunction(PVCD), also known as paradoxical vocal cord motion, is abnormal adduction of the vocal cords during inspiration. Like asthma, PCVD can be triggered by breathing in lung irritants, upper respiratory infection or exercise.
