HyperLoom

Abstract: Real-world scienti c applications often encompass end-to-end data processing pipelines composed of a large number of interconnected computational tasks of various granularity. We introduce Hyper-Loom, an open source platform for de ning and executing such pipelines in distributed environments and providing a Python interface for de ning tasks. HyperLoom is a self-contained system that does not use an external scheduler for the actual execution of the task. We have successfully employed HyperLoom for executing … Show more

“…Second, with systems like Anduril 6 , Balsam 7 , Hyperloom 8 , Jug 9 , Pwrake 10 , Ruffus 11 , SciPipe 12 , SCOOP 13 , and COMPSs 14 workflows are specified using a set of classes and functions for generic programming languages like Python, Scala, and others. Such systems have the advantage that they can be used without a graphical interface (e.g.…”

“…The aim of this article is to introduce an implementation of a distributed hyperparameter search for the vehicle routing problem solver based on HyperLoo m [8]. Using HyperLoo m p ipeline we are able to sweep through large parameter spaces and discover the optimal solution for the heuristic algorith m. HyperLoo m can discover the optimal solution for the heuristic algorithm.…”
