Hypercapnic Ventilatory Response: A Comparison Between Elite and Novice Skin Divers

Abstract: This study tested whether hypercapnic ventilatory response (HCVR) is affected by experience in apnoea and explored the possible underlying mechanisms of this phenomenon, with reference to maximum breath hold time (BHT).
