Hydrometrocolpos in a Newborn

Abstract: \s=b\ Hydrometrocolpos was diagnosed in a neonate shortly after birth. A large collection of fluid was immediately removed from the distended vagina; hymenotomy was performed. The infant has remained well for more than a year following treatment.
