“…To validate the correctness of acquired speed of sound data, the empirical and literature-summarized data of speed of sound for l -ascorbic acid, nicotinic acid, ,, and [BMIm]Br in water have been examined graphically in Figures S4, S5, and S6, respectively, which are in conformity with each other. Density and sound speed data over the temperature range T = 293.15–318.15 K have been applied for the prudence of apparent molar isentropic compression for various aforementioned concentrations of selected vitamins.…”

“…It also plays a fundamental part in the formation of various hormones from the adrenal gland and in repairment of deoxyribonucleic acid. Nicotinic acid is widely employed for treating pellagra, hypercholesterolemia, rosacea, atherosclerosis, and many skin diseases. , In addition, it is utilized as an additive in nutritional supplements, cosmetics, food, forage and, as a result, recognized for its substantial applications in chemical, therapeutic, and dietetic fields …”

“…The values for the speed of sound of (distilled water + poly(ethylene glycol)s) is directly taken from our previous paper 19 and is compared with the literature 17,20,22 for (PEG 400 + distilled water) that is represented in Figure 1b from which it can be deduced that the nature of the increase in the speed of sound values against their respective temperatures and concentrations in both the cases shows a similar pattern. The experimental c (speed of sound) values for (distilled water + niacin) are compared with the literature values 25,28 at temperatures 298.15 and 308.15 K, which are represented graphically in Figure 5, and it is observed that the speed of sound values increase along with the concentrations of niacin from 0.07 to 0.08 to 0.09 mol•kg −1 and temperature, hence exhibiting a similar trend as that in the literature. This occurs for the three-dimensional networks in hydrogen bonds in water.…”
