Humanistic Values in Traditional Healing Practices of Curanderismo

Abstract: Traditional healing practices continue to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of cultural groups across the globe. Curanderismo is a traditional healing practice that meets such needs among Mexican and Mexican American communities. This article briefly demonstrates the shared fundamentals between curanderismo in its contemporary form and humanistic thought.
