Digital literacy competence is an excellent choice as it promotes a more exciting and contextual instruction process. This research explores and reveals the students' profile of digital literacy competence and English learning habits. This study surveyed 402 students from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Santu Paulus Ruteng. A questionnaire was used to collect data, which was then quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. According to the findings, students' digital literacy competence included in the medium category (3,76). Three main digital competencies indicated this category; students' information literacy competence was in the medium category (3,9), media was in the medium category (3,6), and ICT competence was in the medium category (3,78). English learning habits were also classified as high level, as shown by six learning habits: a review of the material, 77

The implementation of the Education Policy in the Covid-19 Emergency Period requires educators to carry out a learning innovation, namely self-directed learning based on digital literacy. This progress has presented both challenges and opportunities for human life. Humans can enjoy the convenience of accessing information and can enjoy the facilities of digital technology freely. Digital literacy needs to be developed in the world of education today to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the application of digital literacy on improving the learning outcomes of students of the Social Science Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, in the Development of Learning Resources and Media Courses at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research uses quantitative methods with a simple linear regression approach. The research data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire was distributed to 77 samples from 152 populations with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained R of 0.667, which indicates that the relationship between the application of digital literacy (variable X) and learning outcomes (Variable Y) is strong. The results of the F test prove that F 68,688> F 4.39, then the alternative hypothesis (H) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H) is rejected. The results and conclusions of this study indicate that the application of digital literacy has an influence on improving student learning outcomes.

Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa tentang literasi digital pada media sosial. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan metode survey, sampel ditetapkan secara random sampling, ditetapkan 46 orang menjadi responden adalah mahasiswa FTIK UINSI Samarinda. Instrumen dibuat dalam 15 item pertanyaan diadaptasi dari beberapa sumber artikel yang dibuat dengan google from dan disebarkan pada bulan September-Oktober 2021 dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa persepsi mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan literasi digital dalam menggunakan media sosial dengan bijak, persepsi mahasiswa tentang literasi digital pada media sosial dapat disimpulkan dalam arti baik dan bahkan sangat baik pada item pertanyaan tertentu. Pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai literasi digital akan lebih meningkat dan membaik, maka dari itu diperlukannya kesadaran pada mahasiswa betapa pentingnya literasi digital pada media sosial terutama pada zaman ini yang sangat rawan dengan informasi hoax. Sebab, dengan wawasan literasi digital yang luas dapat membuktikan informasi hoax, serta dapat memperoleh, memahami, dan memanfaatkan informasi dengan bijak.
