Background: Educational video is a productive means to advocate lifestyle modifications such as changes in the dietary routine. This study assesses the understandability, actionability and suitability of newly developed educational videos aimed at encouraging dietary adjustments among hypertension patients. Method: In all, 183 participants were recruited via convenience sampling and rated the understandability, actionability and suitability of the videos using the Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool for Audio-Visual material (PEMAT-A/V) and the Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM) scale. Results: Eleven videos were developed from five main topics related to the dietary management of hypertension. Participants agreed that all videos were highly understandable, actionable and suitable for use as educational tools, with scores of more than 85%, 89% and 80%, respectively. Conclusion/Implications: Overall, the newly developed videos gained high scores for understandability, actionability and suitability. This finding reflects positive acceptance of the videos among various healthcare professionals and patients with hypertension.

The study aims to describe the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, educational attainment, and number of years in teaching and to understand the structural domain of learning among the students in their academic performance in the area of cognitive domain of learning, affective domain of learning, and psychomotor domain of learning to include the approach on the teaching strategies of the students in their school achievement along the area of analysis and comprehension level, attitude towards the lesson, and academic performance. The quantitative research design is utilized in the study because it attempts to quantify and collect the statistical analysis on the various measures set in the research questions in the study. The purposive sampling technique is utilized in the study. This type of sampling is non-probability which is very effective in the domain of learning and expert knowledge on the needs of the study. The study comprised thirty (30) respondents only. Results show that structural cognitive domain of learning reveals the ability to construct meaning from their lesson as to function and activities in their module, structural affective domain of learning reveals that students have the active attention and proper motivation to learn, willingness to respond, and feeling of satisfaction, and students have the attitude of worth, beliefs, acceptance, preference, and commitment to values, and structural psychomotor domain of learning reveals that students can express their learning through gestures, posture, facial expression, and/or creative movement. On the other hand, approach to teaching strategies as to comprehension and analysis levels shows innovation, creativity, competition, and have the ability to present concepts in their outline lesson, approach to teaching strategies as to the attitude of students toward the lesson shows that students display strict compliance toward their lessons and activities, and approach to teaching strategies as to academic performance shows that students focus on their lessons and provides output in the learning process, and students pay close attention to the direction in their lesson set up by. Findings of the study show that there is no significant agreement between the structural domain of learning among the students in their academic performance and the approach on the teaching strategies of the students in their school achievement among the respondents. In response to the "new normal," the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) developed the Elementary Education Learning Continuity Plan. This plan outlined a series of educational initiatives to address fundamental education issues arising from the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to explore kindergarten teachers' practices toward the adaptation of new learning modalities. The focus group discussion included nine (9) selected kindergarten teachers from the Digos City Division, 5 parents, and 4 school heads who were invited for virtual interviews. The data were recorded, transcribed, coded, and analyzed. Thematic analysis was used to examine the data, and the study's results concluded with core ideas, major themes, and overarching themes being formulated. As catalysts for lifelong learning in the 21st century, teachers served as implementers of learning modalities and collaborated strongly with stakeholders to fully understand the new learning environment. Teachers provided social-professional support to learners, developing the required domains of kindergarten to ensure readiness for Grade 1. Also, results highlighted the application of social intervention and innovative teaching as teachers embraced technological teaching, adaptation to homeschooling, introduction of best practices in teaching, and the cultivation of a positive attitude to successfully implement new learning modalities.
