“…As water deficits becomes severe by withholding water, temporary wilting (TW) can occur in any soil when the atmospheric water demand exceeds the water uptake by plant from the soil, characterized by drooping of leaves during the day and rehydration and recovery at night. As proposed by Montiel et al (2002), TW point is an indicator of when and how much water should be applied to a crop. However, more physiological and biochemical aspects of TW point need to be concerned.…”
