How Accurate Are Coaches In Predicting Perceived Exertion Of Their Athletes?

Abstract: concentrations were determined using ELISA. Heart rate (HR), gastrointestinal temperature (Tgi), physiological strain index (PSI) and changes in blood biomarkers were assessed using 2-way ANOVA and paired Student's t-test with p<0.05 as statistically significant. RESULTS: Participants observed similar baseline Tgi (37.0 ± 0.2ºC; p=0.910) and HR (69 ± 7 bpm; p=0.469).
