Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program: An Economic and Operational Analysis

Abstract: The Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program (HRRP), a part of the US Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, requires the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to penalize hospitals with excess readmissions.
