O desenvolvimento humano e a geração de tecnologias caminham conjuntamente. A matemática que se produz e se ensina ao longo da história é para manter viva a cultura e para impulsionar novas criações culturais, socioambientais, científicas e tecnológicas. Neste artigo, a partir de quatro pressupostos, elencam-se seis desafios na articulação entre conhecimentos históricos e tecnologias digitais que podem instigar políticas educacionais para a formação inicial e continuada de professores, em particular, de matemática.
