“…Being the president of a HBCU has been broached in the literature and includes research about how the intersection of professional and personal leadership characteristics influence challenges, length of presidency, mobility and career paths (Commodore et al, 2016;Elliott et al, 2019;Henry, 2009;Herring, 2010;Mishra, 2007;Strayhorn, 2022).
