Other investigators have previously found these proteins to be present in human saliva (Balekjian and Longton, 1973;Law and Henkin, 1986;Maddali et al, 1995;Trubnikov et al, 1998;Kagami et al, 2000;Streckfus et al, 2001;Nagler et al, 2002;Ohshima et al, 2002;Fabian et al, 2003;Eckley et al, 2004).
