Histochemical and morphological aspects of fresh frozen bone: a preliminary study

Abstract: Bone graft are used in dentistry for the reconstruction of severely atrophic jaws. Fresh frozen bone has no osteogenic property but it has osteoconductive and osteoinductive properties because its matrix contains growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor.
