The socium cryptates of the macrobicyclic ligands 1–6 have been synthesized by direct macrobicyclisation or by stepwise procedures. They incorporate 2,2′‐bithiazole, 2,2′‐biimidazole, 2.2′‐bipyrimidine as well as 2,2′‐bipyridine units. Treatment of the sodium complexes with europium(III) chloride gave the corresponding EuIII cryptates. The structural and spectral properties of these compounds are described. The EuIII complexes present characteristic 1H‐NMR chemical‐shift features. Their luminescence properties are described.

Arch. Pharm. 552 Schunack 2. Hauptmetabolit ist nach unseren Untersuchungen die Nor-Verbindung. Die Identifizierung gelang mit Hilfe der IR-Spektren und der Massenspektren. 3. Im Extrakt der Phenolbasen nach enzymatischer Hydrolyse sind mindestens 4 mit Folin-Cioculfeus-Reagens anfarbbare Substanzen nachweisbar. Hierbei uberwiegt eine Komponente deutlich. Genaue Strukturzuordnungen (Stellung der OH-Gruppe) konnten bislang nicht erbracht werden. 4. In den Extrakten konnten weiterhin geringe Mengen von Nefopam-N-Oxid festgestellt werden. 5. 36 Std. nach der Einnahme von 60 mg Ajan@ konnten i m Morgenurin weder Nefopam noch Nor-Nefopam mit Hilfe UV-photometrischer oder chromatographischer Methoden nachgewiesen werden.
