“…Infrared bonding pattern of CQDs and PAN nanofiber was reported in our previous studies (Kanagasubbulakshmi & Kadirvelu, 2019; Lakshmi et al, 2017), the functional group analysis of fabricated scaffold is represented in Figure S3, the stretching at 3344 cm −1 corresponds to amide stretching between CQDs and PAN nanofiber, stretching at 2930 cm −1 for CH group, CN stretching was observed at 2242 cm −1 , carboxyl group from CQDs attributed to stretching at 1666, 1451, and 1357 cm −1 denotes the CH 2 and CN stretching of PAN nanofiber (Othman et al, 2016). The results demonstrated the strong chemical bonding between CQDs and PAN nanofiber that helps to retain the carboxyl functional group on the surface for further applications.…”

“…The size was found to be 5 nm in average (image j software) and SAED pattern has confirmed the amorphous nature of CQDs that is reported in our previous study (Kanagasubbulakshmi & Kadirvelu, 2019). The physical properties and functional properties were reported in our previous articles (Lakshmi et al, 2017; Lakshmi et al, 2018). In‐situ fabrication of CQDs‐embedded PAN nanofiber was evaluated for morphology, surface, and functional group analysis.…”
