“…In view of this, Knudsen-cell mass spectrometry (KMS) is a convenient tool for studying their molecular and ionic compositions in the gas phase. In this work, this method is used in the so-called ion-molecule equilibrium (IME) approach [8], which was developed two decades ago through cooperation between the Moscow State University, Institute of High Temperatures (Moscow), and Ivanovo Institute of Chemical Technology. In addition to analysis of electron-impact-ionized neutrals, as in classic KMS, the KMS-IME approach deals with charged species in the saturated vapor over the compound being studied.…”
