“…As lowbush blueberry is grown in its native range, native natural enemies and bees that have coevolved with the crop can be found in this agroecosystem. Natural enemies, including ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) and parasitic wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), consume insect pests in lowbush blueberry, such as blueberry spanworm (Itame argillacearia Packard), blueberry maggot (Rhagoletis mendax Curran) and red sorrel (Rumex acetosella L.) weed seeds (Renkema et al 2013(Renkema et al , 2014Cutler et al 2015a;Loureiro and Cutler 2016;Loureiro et al 2020).
