“…Sebanyak 7 dari 10 penelitian melakukan deteksi organoklorin melalui serum yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan chromatography gas, namun ada pula yang menggunakan kuesioner untuk menentukan pajanan pestisida terhadap diabetes (Son et al, 2010) (Chudchawal et al, 2018) Pada penelitian yang dilakukan di India Timur menemukan kadar organoklorin yang tinggi di air tanah dengan konsentrasi rata-rata (0.0061 mg/l ± 0.024 mg/l) dan median 0.070 mg/l.. Kadar o, p'-DDT berkisar antara 0,520 ppb hingga 1,44 ppb dalam air keran, 0,648 ppb hingga 1,79 ppb dalam air tanah, dan 0,486 ppb hingga 1,07 ppb dalam sampel air filter. Kadar p, p'-DDE dan o, p'-DDT juga ditemukan lebih tinggi pada pra-diabetes dan penderita diabetes melitus tipe-2 (DMT2) (Tyagi et al, 2021).
