“…In this work we have chosen ethylcarbazole and phenylcarbazole dimers as the main building blocks for the design and synthesis of hole-transporting and filmforming hydrazones. This choice was based on our earlier reported observations of high hole drift mobilities in the amorphous films of phenylcarbazole-based hydrazones and aromatic amines [1,2].
