High‐gain 2 × 2 UWB antenna array with integrated phase inverter

Abstract: A compact 2 × 2 ultra wideband (UWB) antenna array, composed of four planar rectangular monopoles, with a novel feeding network scheme is presented. The feeding network contains a power divider with a wideband balun and a 180°phase inverter in order to add the radiated electric fields of the array elements in-phase. A partial ground plane is used to achieve ultra wide bandwidth. The antenna array has a measured impedance bandwidth from 2.5 to 5.5 GHz with broadside radiation pattern and a measured peak gain of… Show more

“…The difference in the comparison of the energy thickness goes back to the radar receiver to the energy thickness event on the aircraft and any vehicles. The RCS is contingent on four factors primarily dependent on the material's shape and substance, the monitoring system's orientation, the orientation of the reflected signal, and the electromagnetic signal's wavelength [3][4][5][6].…”
