High Energy Elastic Hadron-Hadron Scattering and Electromagnetic Structure of Hadron

Abstract: 505The differential cross section for hadron-hadron elastic scattering at high energy and the electromagnetic form factor of hadron are studied in the framework of the parton model. We calculate the electromagnetic structure function, vW 2 £H, for deep inelastic lepton-hadron scattering and use the Drell-Yan conjecture to relate it with the electromagnetic form factor of meson (baryon) which is shown to decrease as ( -t)-312(( -t)2) for large ( -t).
