Abstract: Poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) is a biocompatible and non-biodegradable polymer widely used as biomedical material. PMMA microcapsules with suitable dimension and porosity range are proposed to encapsulate live cells useful for tissue regeneration purposes.
