High D-dimer plasma concentration in systemic sclerosis patients: Prevalence and association with vascular complications

Abstract: Objective: To determine the frequency of elevated D-dimer plasma concentration (>500 ng/mL) in patients with systemic sclerosis and evaluate its association with systemic sclerosis–specific microvascular and macrovascular complications.
