Hepatoprotective effects of silymarin on CCl4-induced hepatic damage in broiler chickens model

Abstract: Highlights The hepatoprotective activity of silymarin against CCl 4 -induced liver injury was achieved. Silymarin has potential to alleviate the side effects of CCl 4- induced oxidative stress. Silymarin enhanced oxidative stability by modulation antioxidant related genes.
