Hemşi̇releri̇n Afetlere İli̇şki̇n Görüşleri̇ Deneyi̇mleri̇ Ve Hazirlik Algisi

Abstract

Öz: Amaç: Araştırma, bir kamu üniversitesi hastanesinde ça-lışan hemşirelerin afetlere ilişkin görüşlerini, deneyimlerini, eğitim gereksinimlerini ve afetlere hazır olma algılarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı tasarımda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini toplam 1236 hemşire oluştu-rurken, örneklemini gönüllü olarak araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 406 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında; 13 soruluk anket formu ve afetlere hazır oluşluk algı durum ifadesinden yararlanılmıştır. Veriler; sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, minimum, maksimum kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda hemşire-lerin yaş ortalaması 31.27±5.86 ve çalışma süresi ortalaması 8.07±6.60 olarak bulunurken, çoğunlukla kadın (%85.7), evli (%59.4), lisans mezunu (%88.2), servis hemşiresi (%56.2) olduğu ve en fazla 2-4 yıl arası çalışma süresinin olduğu saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin çok olası gördükleri afetler sırasıyla; deprem (%70.9), terörist saldırılar (%58.6) ve büyük taşıt/ulaşım kazaları (%48.3) şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin ço-ğunluğu afet öncesinde (%66.7), afet sırasında (%95.1) ve afet sonrasında (%95.6) hemşire rolünün olduğunu düşünmekte-dir. Hemşirelerin afetlere hazır oluşluk algı puan ortalaması 4.62±1.74 (min-max: 0-10 puan) olarak belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin genel olarak afetlere hazır oluşluk için kendilerini "orta" düzeyde yeterli gördükleri belirlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Afetler, Afet Planlama, Afet Tıbbı, Hemşirelik, Hemşirelik Yönetimi Araştırması Abstract: Aim: This study was designed as a descriptive study to determine nurses' submissions and experiences on disasters and perceptions of preparedness to disasters. Method: While 1236 nurses who work at a hospital of a state university was creating the study population, 406 nurses who determined using stratified sampling method consisted of the sample of the study. In the collection of research data, 13-item questionnaire and expression of the situation in the perception of preparedness to disasters were used. Results: At the end of the study, it was found that out of the nurses whose mean age was 31.27±5.86 and mean of working time was 8.07±6.60 by the time vast majority of the nurses were women (85.7%), married (59.4%), bachelor's degree holder (88.2%) and service nurses (56.2%). The most potential disaster that nurses think is an earthquake (70.9%) by the time majority of nurses consider the role of a nurse at every stage of disasters. Mean total point score of nurses' perception of preparedness to disasters is 4.62±1.74 (min-max: 0-10 points). Conclusion: It was found that the nurses generally saw themselves sufficient at 'medium level' for being prepared for disasters.
