“…The hantavirus genus comprises at least 24 recognized virus species, several of which are pathogenic to humans. Although hantaviruses are known to circulate in Vietnam, few clinical cases have been reported (Huong et al 2010), and the relative scope of the associated disease burden remains poorly characterized.
