Helicity amplitudes for high-energy scattering

Abstract: We present a prescription to calculate manifestly gauge invariant tree-level helicity amplitudes for arbitrary scattering processes with off-shell initial-state gluons within the kinematics of high-energy scattering. We show that it is equivalent to Lipatov's effective action approach, and show its computational potential through numerical calculations for scattering processes with several particles in the final state.

“…These effects are beyond treatments based on next-to-leadingorder perturbation theory matched with collinear parton showers [47]. With automated methods for off-shell multileg calculations currently being developed [48], the TMD approach could become a general tool for phenomenological analyses of complex hadroproduction final states at the LHC.…”

“…Within this kinematics, the high energy approximation in the form of usual eikonal couplings can than be performed. From the practical point of view, these manipulations can be implemented numerically [29,30]. This led to an evaluation of ratio of observable distributions for p − p versus p − Pb collisions.…”
