Good knowledge on economic value of a particular tourist destination is primarily fundamental for effective management policy formulation. In 2015, Aik Nyet Nature Tourism, which covers an area of approximately 9.08 hectare, is one of tourist destinations planned to receive donation from Provincial Government of West Nusa Tenggara (Pemprov NTB) for its improvement and development of facilities, infrastructures as well as capacity building for people around the tourism location. Using travel cost method, this study estimates consumers' surplus and economic benefits of recreational value in Aik Nyet before the realization of donation from Pemprov NTB. Consumers' surplus per individual per visit is estimated using data collected from survey. Data were collected by means of self-administered, paper-based questionnaire completed on-site during weekend and national holiday of August to October 2015. Using poisson regression, the travel costs (transportation cost, consumption cost, and location paid entrance fee) were considered in the study to explain the frequency of individual's visit to the tourist location. Results of the study show that that consumer surplus obtained by visitors is Rp2,557.158 per visit per individual and the economic recreational value before the realization of the government's financial support is approximately Rp9,333,627.70 per year.

Waterfall has long been a popular tourist attraction with increasing number of visitors. High visitation would increase the risk of environmental damage, especially if the location of the tourism object is in a protected area that is still intact and rich in resources. One strategy to reduce the impact of recreational and nature tourism activities is through carrying capacity (CC) analysis. This study aims to 1) analyze the CC visitors of Cibeureum Waterfall and 2) provide a CC-based waterfall tourism management strategy. The research was conducted in October 2018 in Cibeureum Waterfall, TNGGP of West Java. The CC was estimated using the Cifuentes (1992) approach to calculate physical (PCC), real (RCC), and effective (ECC) CCs, by considering various correction factors. Interviews were also conducted with 100 visitors of Cibeureum Waterfall. In addition, interviews were also conducted with 5 key informants from the management side. The results showed that the daily PCC value was 800, exceeding the RCC (173) and ECC (86) values, indicating overcrowding. On the contrary, on weekdays, the number of visitors is below the RCC. These results indicated potential disturbance in Cibeureum Waterfall and its environment during holidays. Carrying capacity-based management alternatives that were recommended include increasing ticket prices on holidays and implement early booking system. Penelitian ini membahas tentang peramalan jumlah pengunjung wisata Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan wisata Bantimurung Bulusaraung karena dapat menyebabkan perubahan jumlah pengunjung. Dalam penelitian ini, upaya untuk meminimalisir jumlah pengunjung yang tidak tentu dilakukan dengan meramalkan jumlah pengunjung Wisata Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui model peramalan jumlah pengunjung Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros dan mengetahui hasil ramalan jumlah pengunjung Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros menggunakan metode SARIMA. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pengunjung Wisata Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan dalam periode satu tahun. Jumlah pengunjung tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Desember Tahun 2020 yaitu sebanyak 19061 orang dan jumlah terendah terjadi pada bulan Januari Tahun 2020 yaitu sebanyak 15067 orang. Adapun model peramalan jumlah pengunjung Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung Maros menggunakan metode SARIMA yaitu model SARIMA (1,1,3) (2,1,1)12
