HandyWidgets

Abstract: Large multi-touch tabletops are useful for collocated collaborative work involving multiple users. However, applying traditional WIMP interfaces to tabletops causes problems where users cannot reach GUI elements, such as icons or buttons, on the opposite side with their hands, and they sometimes have difficulty in reading the content of GUI elements because their view does not match the orientation of the content.
