Habilidades Sociais e Violência Contra a Mulher por Parceiro Íntimo: Um estudo teórico

Abstract

RESUMOO desenvolvimento de relações interpessoais satisfatórias tem contribuído decisivamente para a qualidade de vida e saúde psicológica. Por outro lado, as dificuldades em manter relacionamentos de forma saudável e de utilizar estratégias de resolução de conflitos favorecem a ocorrência de comportamentos que deterioram a relação conjugal, como é o caso da violência contra as mulheres. A permanência em uma relação abusiva está relacionada a diversos prejuízos físicos e psicológicos. A ausência de denúncias desses casos tende a estar vinculada a múltiplos fatores (déficits de habilidades sociais (HS), aspectos emocionais, financeiros, institucionais e regras culturais). Este estudo tem por objetivo demonstrar que o desenvolvimento de HS em mulheres em relacionamentos violentos se constitui como um recurso para o reconhecimento de relações que violam os direitos humanos básicos e auxiliam na tomada de decisão para o enfrentamento de relações abusivas. Considera-se que o uso de HS e HS conjugais (HSC) contribui para o manejo e resolução de conflitos, favorece relacionamentos satisfatórios e competentes socialmente. Assim, o treinamento em HSC é uma ferramenta que pode ajudar a mulher em situação de violência a denunciar o parceiro e encerrar o ciclo de violência.Palavras-chave: Violência contra as mulheres; violência por parceiro íntimo; habilidades sociais conjugais; habilidades sociais; relacionamento conjugal ABSTRACT Development of social skills of women in situation of violence by intimate partners: a theoretical studyThe development of satisfactory interpersonal relationships has contributed decisively to quality of life and psychological health. Otherwise, difficulties in maintaining relationships in a healthy way and using conflict resolution strategies favors the use of behaviors that deteriorate the marital relationship, such as violence against women. Staying in abusive relationship is related to several physical and psychological damages. The absence of denunciations of these cases tends to be linked to multiple factors (social skills (SS) deficits, emotional, financial, institutional and cultural rules). The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the development of SS in women in violent relationships constitutes a resource for the recognition of relationships that violate basic human rights and assist decision making in coping with abusive relationships. It is considered that the use of SS and marital SS (MSS) contributes to management and conflict resolution, favor relationships that are satisfactory and socially competent. Thus, MSS training is a tool that can help women in violent situations to denounce their partner and to finish the violence cycle.
