Guided High-Quality Development, Resources, and Environmental Forcing in China’s Green Development

Abstract: High-quality guided development and environmental forcing are two routes for China’s green development, and each has different focuses and outcomes. The aim of this study is to clarify coordinated mechanisms to reveal the reasons and determine paths for China’s green development. A research framework for synergetic evolution is established, and the Haken model is applied to analyze the different effects of high-quality development that guide resource- and environmental-forcing mechanisms. This research showed … Show more

“…It is worth mentioning that the Malmquist index in the province of Tibet was significantly higher than that in other provinces. Even if we refer to the relevant literature to exclude possible outliers such as Tibet [77], the mean value of the Malmquist index of the remainder of western regions was still higher than that of the eastern regions.…”

“…One view holds that green development is to fully understand the interaction mechanism of economic, social, and natural system under the constraints of resources and environment and finally realize the maximization of the benefits of the three systems [7]. Another view emphasizes that green development is the pursuit of coordination between economic development and ecological environment [16].…”

“…9 Li included the synthetic environmental pollution index of various pollutants into the unexpected output, and used GML index to measure the total factor productivity of China's agriculture in 1999-2015. 10 Radial method solves the problem of environmental pollution introduced as an unexpected output, but the selection of its directional distance function is subjective, and can not cover the non radial relaxation variables; secondly, non radial method introduces the relaxation variables into the directional distance function to eliminate the assumption that the input of elements expands or shrinks in the same proportion. Tone proposed a non radial and non angle SBM efficiency model based on relaxation variables, and then improved it by Fukuyama, Weber and f€ are proposed SBM Luenberger productivity index.…”
