“…In the past decade, there have been incredible considerations on the fabrication and design of metal NSs on Si-based templates due to their prominent antibacterial, biocompatibility, catalysis, and optoelectronic properties. Among the existing metal NSs, noble metal NSs have shown tremendous surface wetting properties in addition to narrow plasmon resonance. These highlighting factors have inspired the majority of studies in this area of interest for effective and innovative investigations.
