Griseofulvin: An Updated Overview of Old and Current Knowledge

Abstract: Griseofulvin is an antifungal polyketide metabolite produced mainly by ascomycetes. Since it was commercially introduced in 1959, griseofulvin has been used in treating dermatophyte infections.
