Commission IV, WG IV/7KEY WORDS: Collaborative planning, integration of 3D modeling and simulation, multi-scale modelling, mobile computer vision. ABSTRACT:Computer-aided collaborative and multi-scale 3D planning are challenges for complex railway and subway track infrastructure projects in the built environment. Many legal, economic, environmental, and structural requirements have to be taken into account. The stringent use of 3D models in the different phases of the planning process facilitates communication and collaboration between the stake holders such as civil engineers, geological engineers, and decision makers. This paper presents concepts, developments, and experiences gained by an interdisciplinary research group coming from civil engineering informatics and geo-informatics banding together skills of both, the Building Information Modeling and the 3D GIS world. New approaches including the development of a collaborative platform and 3D multi-scale modelling are proposed for collaborative planning and simulation to improve the digital 3D planning of subway tracks and other infrastructures. Experiences during this research and lessons learned are presented as well as an outlook on future research focusing on Building Information Modeling and 3D GIS applications for cities of the future.

Abstract. Information systems are becoming ever more reliant on different forms of social computing, employing individuals, crowds or assembled teams of professionals. With humans as first-class elements, the success of such systems depends heavily on how well we can motivate people to act in a planned fashion. Incentives are an important part of human resource management, manifesting selective and motivating effects. However, support for defining and executing incentives in today's information systems is underdeveloped, often being limited to simple, per-task cash rewards. Furthermore, no systematic approach to program incentive functionalities for this type of platforms exists.In this paper we present fundamental elements of a framework for programmable incentive management in information systems. These elements form the basis necessary to support modeling, programming, and execution of various incentive mechanisms. They can be integrated with different underlying systems, promoting portability and reuse of proven incentive strategies. We carry out a functional design evaluation by illustrating modeling and composing capabilities of a prototype implementation on realistic incentive scenarios.

Abstract. Model Driven Development (MDD) witnessed a boom both in research and practical applications starting from 2001. Its main innovative idea was the model transformation languages as a real support for MDD. A couple of years ago MDD survived a deep crisis due to disillusionment by practitioners in support for it. However, recently it got a revival in the form of Domain Specific Languages, this again stimulated the research and usage of transformation languages. One of the obstacles for MDD adoption in industry has been the reluctance of practitioners to learn a new language. This paper offers a new approach how the well-known extension LINQ of the popular C# language can be used for defining model transformations. Especially the functional style supported by LINQ is promoted, which has not been widely used in the existing transformation languages.
