Green Technology Acceptance Model and Green Logistics Operations: “To See Which Way the Wind Is Blowing”

Abstract: The study provides a new insight to extend traditional technology acceptance model (TAM) in to energy-augmented TAM (EA-TAM) model in order to analyze the micro and macro perspectives of green enterprise technology to ensure eco-friendly products. The critical review would enhance analytical abilities to understand the main determinants of the TAM model at both firms' and industry perspective. The study proposed micro and macro enterprise energy-augmented TAM models and found that microenterprise EA-TAM associ… Show more

“…If this expectation is met, they are willing to adopt innovative services offered by their service provider. Prior studies have also shown that PEOU significantly influences users while deciding to use a new IS (Hanafzadeh et al, 2014;Mortimer et al, 2015), acceptance of green transportation (Chen and Lu, 2016) and managing green logistics (Anser et al, 2020). Hence, we believe that the ease of use positively influences both adoption and use of green banking channels.…”

“…However, the increase into two approximate linear relation parts; the first one is when there is a slight increase in mass flowrate with a slope 0.02. So, as the height increases from 550 m to 750 m the mass flowrate increases from 25x10 4 to 28.35x10 4 Kg/s. In the second part, the slope of the linear relation is 5 times bigger.…”

“…So, the clean energy alternatives are highly recommended for power generations [1,2]. According to energy experts, unconventional energy sources can be used for electric power generation which receives a great attention [3,4]. Power generating technology grounded by green resources is anticipated widely in different countries, such as solar energy, which is considered as a significant clean and reachable source of renewable energy that performs a noteworthy role in providing electric power, especially in a dry and semi-dry climate [2,5].…”

“…According to Incekara et al and Hassan, Shaw, Shiu, Walsh, and Parry (2016), students' apathetic attitudes toward the environment are due to a lack of knowledge and interest in environmental issues. Other research has revealed that students are well-informed about environmental issues and are interested in them (Akman & Mishra, 2015;Anser et al, 2020;Benamati & Rajkumar, 2008). Few studies, however, have found that students' conceptual understanding of environmental issues has influenced them to conserve the environment (Akman & Mishra, 2015;Greaves et al, 2013;Kumar et al, 2017).…”
