Green Synthesis of Aluminium Oxide Nanoparticles by using Aerva Lanta and Terminalia Chebula Extracts

Abstract: Eco-friendly synthesis of aluminium oxide nanoparticles was achieved by a novel, facile green route method using aerva lanta and terminalia chebula as a reducing agent. Aluminium oxide nanoparticles (Al 2 O 3 ) were synthesized from aluminium nitrate using extracts of aerva lanta leaves and terminalia chebula seeds. Nanoparticles produced by plants are more stable and rate of synthesis is faster than that in other organisms. The present investigation was carried out to green synthesis of alumina nanoparticles … Show more

“…Additionally, the extract of Aerva lanata leaves and terminalia chebula seeds was used to produce Al 2 O 3 NPs. e size and shape of the nanoparticles formed were different, having a shape of spherical agglomeration and a size in the range of 50-70 nm in the case of Aerva lanata leaves while having a sphere and a size range of 50-100 nm in the case of Terminalia chebula seeds [149].…”

“…Finally, VNPs were precisely characterized 21) Synthesis of Aluminum nanoparticles (AlNPs): The synthesis of Aluminum nanoparticles carried out by, 100mL of 0.1M of Aluminum chloride (M.F: AlCl 2 .6H 2 O, M.W: 241.43 g/mol) solution is taken in a 250 ml clean conical flask. Then, 10 ml of OBL leaves extract was added drop by drop into Aluminum chloride solution under continuous stirring for 30 min at the room temperature [39]. Colourless solution turn into pale bluish yellow in colour.…”
