Hydrogen is a nearly emission-free energy carrier with many enticing qualities, including wide availability, environmental friendliness, and a high calorific value. There have constantly been a lot of challenges to establish an entire fledge low carbon hydrogen economy in the past century. This study aims to critically analyse the economic, environmental, technological, and policy implementation and division of low-carbon hydrogen to find novel solutions, bridging the gaps and giving a perspective approach to the study. Differentiation of various low carbon hydrogen (LCH) components, including green and blue hydrogen, was also proposed based on the life cycle assessment emissions (LCAE). Current policy perspectives and Promised Pledged Perspectives are considered to project hydrogen demand in 2030. A thorough economic analysis of low-carbon hydrogen system technologies is also conducted from both hydrogen production and storage perspectives by comparing various production and storage systems. Current Policies towards LCH were critically viewed from policymakers, consumers, and R & D perspectives, through which several challenges, gaps, and keynote necessities were also stated.

IntroductionIndonesian people are familiar with and use many sharia insurance products. However, research specifically discussing fire insurance products is still limited.ObjectivesThis study carries out a SWOT analysis of fire insurance products from the marketing strategy aspect and Islamic perspective.MethodThis study used a quantitative approach with a sample of PT. Chubb Life Insurance (Persero) Medan Branch, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using interviews and questionnaires. This study uses SWOT Analysis to evaluate internal and external factors that influence a company to identify strengths and weaknesses.ResultsThe research results show that the strengths of PT. Chubb Life Insurance were in its principles that are not usury, its brand is strong and its policies and claims services are well served. The opportunity can be found around office buildings that requires fire insurance. The weaknesses faced are low market share and human resources. The threat is the large number of competing companies that have similar products and the public's lack of understanding about insurance.ImplicationsThis study shows a strong internal position and indicates that the company responded well to existing opportunities and avoided threats in the market.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to the study of fire insurance as part of Islamic insurance in Indonesia.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has heavily depended on fossil fuels. Recognizing the negative environmental impacts of the unmoderated consumption of fossil fuels, including global warming and consequent climate change, new plans and initiatives have been established to implement renewable and sustainable energy sources worldwide. This has led to a rapid increase in the installed solar and wind energy capacity. However, considering the fluctuating nature of these renewable energy sources, green hydrogen has been proposed as a suitable energy carrier to improve the efficiency of energy production and storage. Thus, green hydrogen, produced by water electrolysis using renewable electricity, is a promising solution for the future energy market. Moreover, it has the potential to be used for the decarbonization of the heavy industry and transportation sectors. Research and development (R&D) on green hydrogen has grown considerably over the past few decades, aiming to maximize production and expand its market share. The present work uses a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis to evaluate the current status of the green hydrogen market. The external and internal factors that affect its market position are assessed. The results show that green hydrogen is on the right track to becoming a competitive alternative to fossil fuels soon. Supported by environmental benefits, government incentives, and carbon taxes, roadmaps to position green hydrogen on the energy map have been outlined. Nevertheless, increased investments are required for further R&D, as costs must be reduced and policies enforced. These measures will gradually decrease global dependency on fossil fuels and ensure that roadmaps are followed through.
