[Corrosion Inhibition of Mild Steel with Miana (Coleus scutellaroides (L.) Benth.) Leaves Extract in HCl Medium] Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun miana (Coleus scutellaroides (L.) Benth.) (EDM) terhadap laju korosi baja lunak, mengidentifikasi jenis adsorpsi, dan mengkarakterisasi permukaan baja lunak baik sebelum maupun setelah penambahan EDM. Metode kehilangan berat (weight loss) digunakan untuk menguji lajuÂ korosi, jenis adsorpsi diidentifikasi melalui perhitungan termodinamika, dan karakterisasi permukaan dievaluasi dengan menggunakan fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), dan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju korosi terendah didapatkan pada suhu 30â„ƒ dengan konsentrasi EDM sebesar 6 g/L sebesar 0,153 mg/cmÂ²jam dengan efisiensi inhibisi 88,288%. Analisis karakterisasi menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara EDM dengan permukaan baja lunak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi terhadap penggunaan EDM sebagai inhibitor korosi yang ramah lingkungan.
