Graphical Methodology of Global Pollution Index for the Environmental Impact Assessment Using Two Environmental Components

Abstract: One of the applied methods for environmental impact assessment is the index of global pollution (I GP) proposed by Rojanschi in 1991. This methodology enables the global estimation for the ecosystem state affected more or less by human activities. Unfortunately, Rojanschi's method has a limitation; it can be applied only if at least three environmental components are considered. Frequently, many environmental impact assessment applications rely on analysis of only two environmental components. Therefore, this … Show more

“…A wide range of techniques and tools have been created to offer direction in the circular business model innovation process and assist companies in overcoming the difficulties encountered when building and innovating business models towards circularity. Business model innovation is best defined as an iterative process with various stages (such as conception, implementation, and assessment) [38] and varying degrees of detail (such as modifications at the conceptual level to changes in operational processes) [39]. The new sustainable models that are developed must go beyond sustainability and achieve sustainable income, based on an adjustment of the traditional growth framework, which can be used to restore natural resources while also being economically viable [40,41].…”

“…Therefore, the importance of identifying new ways of reintegrating marginal lands for agricultural production must be considered, in correlation with the need for land conservation and long-term viability. Heat treatments can also be used to process plants grown on contaminated and hazardous soils, where their use by incineration could cause serious health risks [21][22][23].…”

“…Many of the agronomic systems used today place a focus on quantity rather than quality, which frequently hinders the less productive farms from being profitable [14,15]. This fact results in a persistent decline of the region's vineyards.…”
