“…MT aims to fill the glottic gap and bring both vocal cords together, thereby allowing the larynx to function properly again [5]. Materials, such as Gore-Tex, silastic, and hydroxyapatite are used for MT, and the most worrisome possible complication of MT is extrusion of the implant, which may occur into the endolarynx or out of the paraglottic space [6].
