These data were analyzed by normalizing the peak area of the [(4) 2 Au] + and [( 12)Au] + ions to the Au 3 + gold cluster peak area, based on the method of Pavlov and Attygalle, [21] and plotting the normalized data versus the estimated surface coverage (Figure 5 and S9).
