By 1962, however, Harold Jantz had written a highly perceptive and extremely critical article in The German Quarterly, highlighting some of the fallacies of Jung's approach (Jantz, 1962). In the meantime, there have been several book-length treatments, including the short monograph by the analytical psychologist Edward F.
