GCs were cultured in DMEM/F12 medium supplemented with 10% charcoal‐stripped fetal calf serum (CS FCS) (Invitrogen, Grand Island, NY), 2 mM L‐glutamine, penicillin (10,000 IU/ml), and streptomycin (10 mg/ml) (Biological Industries, Beit‐Ha'emek, Israel), in six‐well plates, as previously described (Miller et al, ).
