Glycyrrhizic Acid-Lipid Framework Nanovehicle Loading Triptolide for Combined Immunochemotherapy

Ziyi Xu,
Yu Huang,
Yihan Wu
et al.

Abstract: Despite the acknowledged advantages of combined immunochemotherapy for tumor treatment, the high efficiency of co-delivery of these combined agents into the targeted tumor tissue is still challenging. Herein, based on a "three-birds-with-one-stone" strategy, a facile glycyrrhizic acid (GL)-lipid hybrid nanoplatform loading triptolide (TP/ GLLNP) is designed to better address the dilemma. Differing from the traditional liposomes with dual-drug co-delivery NPs, GL with a cholesterol-like structure is primarily e… Show more

“…And the PIP and GA loading contents in ES100-PIP/GA NCs were determined to be 37.27% and 24.29% (Table S1, ESI†), respectively, which are higher than those of previously published nanodrugs such as liposomes. 29,30 Overall, the above results indicated that the nanocrystals were successfully prepared.…”

“…The concept of this delivery system design is similar to that of GA–LP, but with some differences. The focus of our study is more inclined to how to improve the efficacy and reduce the toxicity of CTD by constructing a novel tumor-targeted delivery system …”

“…Free DiR, DiR/ PBAE TK , and DiR/PBAE TK @GA NPs (at the equivalent DiR amount of 0.05 mg/kg) were administrated via tail vein injection when the tumor volume reached about 1000 mm 3 . The details are provided in a previous study, 54 and the method is described in the Supporting Information.…”
