Abstract:Este artigo pretende discutir as relações entre corpo, cidade e sexualidade (SANTAELLA, 2004; HISSA & NOGUEIRA, 2013), a partir das interferências da travesti Gilda, em Curitiba, nas décadas de 70 e 80, e que, por sua vez, deram origem a vários movimentos artísticos, na música, no teatro e no cinema. Para subsidiar as interpretações em relação à Modernidade, PósModernidade e cidade, enquanto espaço-tempo do trânsito dos corpos, foram emprestadas as reflexões de Baudelaire, Benjamin, Canclini e Sarlo.
