“…According to Shagin et al (2018) active transportation and combustion of fossil fuels are the main sources of Ni and Pb in the atmosphere in the vicinity of Garabashi glacier. Moreover, in approximately 35 km west of Garabashi glacier there is an abandoned Pb-Zn mine with mine tailing storage which contributes to soil, water and atmosphere pollution in this region (Uraskulov et al 2018).
