These effects in humans can be due to their ability to impair anti-oxidative defenses by altering redox equilibria (Benedetti et al, 2014) These findings are consistent with the chromosomal abberations expressed as NA observed in the erythrocytes of the fishes even at sub-lethal levels and resounds the impacts of pesticides at sub-cellular levels. The results of the present study however, show that herbicides (Paraquat) offer less mutagenic threats compared to the insecticides investigated.…”
